Charleston County Master Gardener Association's mission is to train volunteers who can facilitate the educational work of the local Consumer Horticulture Extension agent by delivering research-based information to citizens of their counties.

Charleston Parks Conservancy is a non-profit organiztion whose mission is to increase the quality, awareness, appreciation and usage of Charleston’s parks and greenspaces.  www.CharlestonParksConservancy.org

Low Country Garden Club  is a proud supporter of CHS and a steadfast sponsor of CHS's Plantasia - a green market for plant lovers.   The club  focuses on gardening opportunities to educate its local members.   

The Garden Club of Charleston is a non-profit organization and is the 2nd oldest garden club in the South.  Their mission includes furthering horticultural education, conservation and landscape design through scholarship.  They maintain The Gateway Walk and the gardens of The Joseph Manigault House and The Heyward Washington House.  www.TheGardenClubofCharleston.org

The City of Charleston, Department of Parks is responsible for the design, construction, maintenance and repair of the city's new and existing parks, playgrounds, green spaces, facilities and buildings.  The city currently owns and is responsible for 120 parks which consist of approximately 1,500 acres of parks and open space.  Two of the Parks Department eight specialized divisions include Urban Forestry and Horticulture, both of which CHS partners with on current community projects:  Charleston Trees and the Windermere Community Garden.

The Preservation Society has been dedicated to preserving Charleston's unique architectural and cultural heritage since 1920. It is the nation's oldest non-profit community and membership preservation organization.  http://www.preservationsociety.org/

The Native Plant Society, Lowcountry Chapter.  The South Carolina Native Plant Society was founded in March of 1996 by a diverse group of folks interested in promoting the awareness and education of native plant species and their importance in the South Carolina landscape and history.  The Lowcountry Chapter was added in 1997.
